What We Do
Our programme varies from week to week to meet a wide range of needs and age groups. Click on the right to download our weekly bulletin telling you what’s on this week.
We believe that the Bible is our guide for how we live and the things we do as a church. As a result, we include regular opportunities in our programme for most of the following things that the first Christians did in the New Testament:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
Acts 2:41-47
This means that:
- We learn together through studying the Bible
- We pray together in groups and as a church
- We worship through times of praise and thanksgiving
- We share in communion together thanking God for what He has done for us in Jesus
- We serve each other by sharing who we are and what we have.
- We show the love of Christ to others by using our gifts and abilities.
- We give together so that the church around the world will be able to grow.
- We tell others about Jesus so that others will come to know Him.
