ACF

ACF stands for ‘After Church Fellowship’ and as the name suggests it’s for young people meeting after the evening service at Hillview Church. Young people from Abbey Church also attend. ACF is for those in Y10 and above (around 14 years old and over), but it doesn’t stop at the end of school, rather it encourages those that either didn’t go to university or those that have gone and then come back, to be part of the group.

Typically we get around a dozen young people attending and we alternate the venue around the homes of the leaders – Mike/Naomi Webber, Chris/Natasha Saunders and Steve/Sue Mortin. At ACF we chat or chill over a drink at the start, and then there is usually a bit of singing, followed by a talk, prayer session, discussion, video or other input for us to think about. About once a month we descend on someone else's house to do an 'At Home' with them, which includes asking them all sorts of questions about where they have come from, how they became Christians, etc.
